As a manager, the manager should set the goals that each employee should achieve within a certain period of time(Cardeñosa, Herrero and Gisbert, 2012). This may be a lot of products that every worker must produce every day, orders that everyone can complete every day, new customers that employees can get, and so on. Through set goals and objectives, employees will be challenged and motivated to work hard. If everyone can get good grades and reach their goals every day, they will have a sense of satisfaction. Another important role of managers in the workplace is to assign tasks to each employee. This will make sure that the corporation’s day-to-day functions or business activities are properly implemented(Sidle, 2014).

What are the issues managers face in performing their roles in business organizations?

When members differ in race, color, caste, belief, nationality, gender, etc., the diversity of labor exists. Traditionally, organizations are managed by workers with little or no variety, such as all men, all white or all Indians, but today almost all organizations have made dramatic changes in the structure of the workforce(Chrobot-Mason and Leslie, 2012). The company employs people from different ethical, social, economic and cultural backgrounds at almost each organizational level.

While diversity provides competitive advantages in terms of resource acquisition, cost, creativity, marketing, troubleshooting and system flexibility, it turns into a source of dispute in several organizations. The organization’s aborigines may be reluctant to accept cooperation with people from other cultural backgrounds.

One of the key reasons why motivation is a thought-provoking job is the change in the workforce. Workforces are part of their organization and have a variety of expectationsandneeds(Faustenhammer and Gössler, 2011). Different personnel have diverse beliefs, thinking, values, attitudesandbackgrounds. However, all the organizations are unaware of diversity of their workforce,in addition, therefore do not understand and clarify the diverse ways in which they can motivate their diverse workforce. It is a challenge for managers to comprehend that diverse people are inspired in diverse ways. Being able to motivate managers must first understand people's needs. Humans are intricate and comprehending their requirements is challenge. For several levels, it may actually be a de-motivation factor. Therefore, the challenge for managers is to keep the level of the hierarchy to a minimum.

Poor system and work overload can be the driving factor. Managers must respond to varying business systems, appropriate workload distribution, and maintaining job change to cope with boring challenges(Hendricks and Cesar, 2014). Another challenge may be how to include employees in decision making and participation. Ensuring that employees are motivated and motivated employee is a significant part of running a business. A participating and happy employee is available. Motivation is vital because the cost of replacing employees is higher than the cost of retaining employees. Therefore, employees must continue to be motivated. This is a focus on the list of organizational priorities(Huffman, 2012).
